The Fate Point
All PCs have a special ability; once per game session they get a Fate Point. This can be used to cheat death. At any point in which a character would be knocked unconscious or die, he can spend his Fate Point to completely avoid all damage from that attack. Furthermore, his other wounds weren’t as bad as he thought, and he immediately heals 2d6 points.
These are not saved/ stacked: you have a maximum of one Fate Point.
A Karma Point could additionally be expended to avoid one particular damage roll/ effect (maybe more than one in some instances).
